Blues For Snake [5:55] Running Time: [1:14:21] Source: CD-R > EAC > WAV > Cool Edit > WAV > FLAC Level 6 Lineup: Andy Summers - Guitar Darryl Jones - Bass Bill Evans - Saxophone Mitchell Foreman - Keyboards Chad Wackerman - Drums Notes: The final track played at this gig is missing ("Mickey Goes To Africa"). Track 1 and 8 fade in and tracks 7 and 11 fade out. I split the original single track into individual tracks in Cool Edit and tidied up a few silent gaps in between fades. No other modifications were made. To my ears: The original feed is coming from the desk. The sound is somewhat compressed and a little bass heavy - could be an FM transmission. Probably a C90 tape flip between 7 and 8. There's a hint of clipping from time to time, but it's barely noticable and doesn't get in the way. The top end is fine. A good, well balanced recording. I have no idea how widely circulated this recording is. Perhaps someone has a copy of the full gig somewhere. I bought the CD on eBay in the mid nineties. Thought it would be nice to put up some more solo Summers work. Anyone got any more? Is it me or is there no guitar in Blues For Snake? Please: Do not distribute in compressed format. Do not edit. Do not sell. Enjoy! Jamie
