Haven't seen Billy on his own for a while so this was a treat. Ok wasn't exactly solo with the marvellous Mac on keys for a chunk of the set and Wiggy's cameo but shows that Bill has been listening to his own reissues as there were plenty of early gems! Loved hearing "Renee", the Plonk tribute, a wonderful "Tank Park Salute" and a ragged but right "A13". London was in fine voice for the 2nd encore (I did a Madonna and mimed my vocals!). The full airing of "Life's a Riot" EP was the icing on the cake. There's quite a bit of talking as ever with Billy's gigs, this show being on the eve of the local elections with the ever scummy far right British Narional Party rearing their heads. So if you just want the music, skip to the start of the next track!
