A bit of background noise from the other nearby stage at first, and at the end, but for the main set it's quiet next door. Very appreciative crowd too, no chattering during the narrative parts of this gig. A tribute to Woody Guthrie on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Rachel Rose Reid came on stage first for a 10 minute poetry slot about Woody. Then Billy Bragg came on and played a number of songs written by Woody and told tales about Woody's life and Billy's involvement in putting music to a lot of the songs. Have a listen to hear more about it all. The last song is a Billy Bragg song of course. Wasn't sure about going to this but glad I did afterwards.
