Very appreciative crowd too, no chattering during the narrative parts of this gig. A tribute to Woody Guthrie on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Rachel Rose Reid came on stage first for a 10 minute poetry slot about Woody. Then Billy Bragg came on and played a number of songs written by Woody and told tales about Woody's life and Billy's involvement in putting music to a lot of the songs. Have a listen to hear more about it all. The last song is a Billy Bragg song of course. Wasn't sure about going to this but glad I did afterwards.
