Ian McCulloch WLIR Interview 27 July 1987 [4:36] Total Running Time: [1:23:26] Source: Sony ECM-909->Sony WM-D6 Lineage: ANA(M)->wav(24/48, SF 9.0)->wav(16/44)->flac Notes from stonecutter: This was the final show of the four NYC shows Echo did in NYC that year. They played earlier in the year, at the Savoy Theater (yet another short lived NYC theater) and came back to play the states again (at the record companies behest) during that summer. It seems they really didn't want to do this second tour but the shows were great. However, it seems this tour led to some tension within the band that ended with Pete, the drummer disappearing for a while! When he comes back the band is never really the same again. I taped this one from the first row, hence the slightly weird mix. It was tough because it was really loud and I had to watch out for sercurity and stuff but over all a pretty nice tape. I really loved the Bunnymen and saw and taped them many times. Perhaps more will show up here. In the meantime please enjoy this great show. Much thanks to stonecutter (Rich B.) for entrusting me with his tapes. Other than azimuth adjustment and some slight clipping on the first track corrected sparingly with a declipper plug-in, this is a raw transfer. Taped by stonecutter (Rich B.), transferred by i86time.
