ABOUT THE RECORDING: I was standing on a great spot, a little to the right of the stage, with only four rows of people standing in front of me. I had my mike attatched to my cap and pointed it to the right speaker stack. You get some of the Amsterdam Arena's 'rich reverb'. 
I was getting the best postion to record The Police concert and decided to tape Fiction Plane too. At one point (during It's a Lie) you hear me redirecting the microphone but other than that, the sound is quite decent.
You hear some people cheering and singing. That's what you get standing at the front. But all in all this is a fine recording to my ears. 

PREPARING THE RECORDING: After the raw transfer I started out to correct the sound. First I reduced some clapping, which gave high peaks. There were a few clippings (only claps) that needed to be corrected. 

ABOUT THE CONCERT: Fiction Plane (an anagram of Police Infant, by the way) is opening for The Police during their Reunion Tour. The fact that Joe Sumner is Stings' son may have something to do with that. They sound like a crossover of U2 and Keane to me. But all in all they warmed up really nicely for dad's band...
