Appx 50 feet from stage I would guess Source: Schoeps MK4 w/NBox Tascam DR-2D 24 Bit 48K Lineage: Processed using Soundforge 10b, resample, to 16bit 44.1K, TLH to convert to Flac Notes: It was Saturday night and my son chose to stay at his mom's so I had no plans. I was able to get a cheap GA ticket so figured I should head out taping. From looking around I found few sources and no shows from the current tour which was motivation enough. Got in and got a good spot. Through the opening acts I was surrounded by quiet and good people. Right in front of the rail in front of me was a big burly guy with his wife and two teenage kids which was perfect. Once Flogging Molly came on the crowd went nuts and the pit became a large mosh pit. As I quickly discovered there was one behind me and I got slapped multiple times from behind. In the process I damaged a connector on the preamp. This caused serious drop out issues on the right channel and lots of pops on the left channel where the right side dropped out. I spent hours cleaning the left channel pops and copied it to the right side so this is a mono recording. The pit was insane and at one point a large guy appeared to smash a rather small woman in the face which led to a fight and security right in front of me. Commotion can be heard on the recording. Halfway through the show the family bailed as did the people to my right. While not a perfect recording, it is the best available from the tour so far. I've done my best with track splits and a setlist. Just the basic taper requests here and please no vitriol: Don't be an ass by selling this or using it in a video that is sold.
