SOURCE: SONY WM D3 (or D6) / unknown mic > 1st gen TDK SA 90 TRANSFER: nakamichi cr 7e (azimuth adjusted) > marantz dr 6000 > mac rip to disk > soundforge > flac Notes: They played "Devil Indide" and "Suicide Blond". First song is missing. Only the very last seconds are on the recording. The original taper told me, that he simply forget to push the record button. Sometimes shit happens. My friend MA recorded this show. I contacted him a few weeks ago `cause I wanted to know, if he would give me his master tapes to transfer. He said that all his tapes were at his friends basement for years `til his friends dad decided to throw the tapes in the garbage (!!!). You don`t want to know what jewels he had in his collection. Aaaargh ! Anyway - this transfer is from 1st gen (or call it the new master). I remember Michael Hutchence coming off the backstage after soundcheck, walking to their nightliner, walking around it three times, waiting for some groupies to come, but....no girl walked up to him. I know, that he didn`t have that problem a few years later, but I really had to laugh when I saw him doing this in Bonn. I think it an excellent audience recording. Let me know, if you think the same. Best Bobfather Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 252417 (by bobfather)
