Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic [6:01] Lineage: Audio Reality binaural mics > Sony RH1 (HiSP 256kbps) > Sonic Stage to PC/WAV > Cool Edit Pro (tracking, minor edits, 3db boost) > flac NOTES: Although most of this recording is of decent quality (listen to the samples), it does have a number of flaws. This show was a private party for the "Club Excellence" of Oracle Corp. THe main stage was set right next to Wailea Beach - and since all the beaches in Hawaii are public property, the beach was packed with the common folk who were not allowed on hotel property. As a result, security was extremely ferocious. We were herded from one location to another. Finally, by the 3rd song, I found a recording spot near a security gate in the bushes about 150 feet from the stage and about 50 degrees off angle from the direction the speakers were pointed. Here's how the security description relates to the recording - 1) Song 1 - Message In A Bottle - is mostly missing. I started the recorder as we were being moved from a distance over to the beach. 2) Song 2 - Once we were in range of the stage, the quality of the recording improves. However, we were once again in a non-allowed area so you will hear our movements and crackles in one or two places as the mics and battery box get knocked about. 3) Song 3 - We finally got to the protected space from where the remainder of the show was recorded. Since the spot was somewhat hidden, there were 3 times during the show that people used this area to try to sneak past security and enter the main concert area. During these times, there is some talking in the background. During "The Hounds Of Winter", one unsuccessful crasher insisted on telling me how they wanted to taser him. You'll hear him and my admonishment to be quiet because I was recording. Other than that, take the show for what it's worth. I'd probably leave the first two songs off any CD you burn. Listen to the samples and decide for yourself. Aloha from Maui, Nassau73. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 373120 (by nassau73)
