Audience applause was mitigated using the "Click and Crackle" removal tools. Periodic loud points were gently enveloped to allow for more headroom in normalization. Normalization performed on each channel independently to -0.10dB. Conversion: Trader's Little Helper v.2.7.0 (Build 172) MISC NOTES: I first caught Paul Simon 15 years ago (literally half my life-time ago) when he played with Bob Dylan at Nissan Pavilion in Bristow VA. I'm sure he must have toured some time between that show and this one, but I never made it out, and Paul Simon remained on my "must see" list for a decade and a half. I saw Sting once when he played about a half dozen songs for a free Earth-Day event on the National Mall in DC in April 2010. I am honestly not a huge Sting fan, but I respect his music and his career so when this show was announced, I jumped on it. Even with the insane $180 ticket, I figured Paul put on such a great show 15 years earlier, and at 72 years old, there is no telling how many more opportunities I will have to see him. Verizon Center is a hockey / basketball stadium pretty notorious for rotten acoustics. That said, I am pretty happy with how this tape came out-- not my best tape ever, but certainly not as boomy or jumbled as I was expecting (indeed the recording sounds clearer than the actual show did!). Here's hoping you enjoy this awesome 2.5hr+ of great music! Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 485429 (by travelinbeat) Lineage: FLAC > WAV (24/96) > Adobe Audition > WAV (16/44) > FLAC (Level 6)
