18.01.1979 Germany, Bremen, Musikladen Live At Musikladen very good Broadcast Total Running Time: [33:26] 01. So Lonely [6:02] 02. Fall Out [2:54] 03. Born In The 50's [5:28] 04. Hole In My Life [3:22] 05. Peanuts [3:28] 06. Landlord [2:39] 07. Roxanne (commentary by an italian DJ or VJ at the beginning) [7:09] 08. Truth Hits Everybody [2:20] Lineage: unknown generation tape > Pioneer CT-W530R (stereo cassette deck) > Philips CDR 600 (audio CD recorder) > CD-R > EAC v0.99 > WAV > Nero wave Editor > CD-WAV > Fair Star Audio Converter > FLAC level 8 No equalisation, no hiss reduction, but I had to correct the pitch (+ 1,5 semitone). Another nice performance by The Police. One of the earliest live recordings ! I received this show almost 20 years ago and I'm not sure about the source...Everybody knows the famous TV performance captured by the german channel WDR, but I don't know if this recording came from a TV or radio broadcast. As you can hear the commentary of an italian DJ at the beginning of "Roxanne", that show is a copy of an italian broadcast (ur... logic !). You can ear a soft whistling throughout the show, but this is not disturbing at all. You can also ear some cracks (like a vinyl) and I only know one vynil - I don't have - of this show, called "Pioneers d'Amour" (picture disc 1984 ARC 0079). Does my recording come from this vynil ? If you have some infos about this, please tell me ! Enjoy ! PLEASE DO NOT SELL ! If you have a better version, send a PM. Thanks. Olivier Culli - august 28, 2008. Notes by pigsinspace: This show was broadcasted in Italy on RAI 3 TV on 1980-11-16. I remember the broadcast pretty well and the presenter talked on the beginning of Roxanne and there was no other rebroadcast AFAIK. Pioneers d'amour is from this broadcast, so I guess your upload comes from this vinyl. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 213987 (by oliswax)
