Good performance and it is worth noting that this is a lossless version (not mp3). Most collectors only have the mp3 version so this would be an upgrade in sound quality. LC's Transfer: AUD>unknown gen cass>Sony TC-WE635 tape deck>Sony RCD-W500C standalone burner>CDR(M)>EAC(secure/offset)>WAV>CDWave>FLAC(level 5) comment by Travis: This show has been one difficult puppy to find in lossless format, but here it is. My copy comes from the CD-R master, as I have the FLACs that were made directly from the tape transfer. This is a mixed bag. The version of Shadows is unique because it's so close to the album version. The performance of this song in Essen 4 days later is astounding because that's ultimately how the song would end up live. This might be a testament to what kind of band the Police were. It's also the first time Man In A Suitcase is performed. With this said, the sound on here isn't great. It's got some distance to it, lacks definition, and the cymbals are hard to hear (especially the hi-hat). The recording still conveys a good performance. The ending of Next To You is quite odd. I'm not giving it away, you'll just have to get it if you want to find out that bad. It seems that So Lonely might not have been played this night, as there's no lead-in to the song and Sting says good night (by this point, band introductions have already been made). This is a show most hardcore fans will pick up because it's so hard to find lossless. There are other Zenyatta recordings that aren't great, but there enough good ones to say that overall this isn't a recording most people really need.
