He accompanied himself, strumming simply on electric guitar, on solo versions of Roxanne and Message In A Bottle. He also sang the lead vocals on (Bob Dylan's) I Shall Be Released, together with a full band (including Phil Collins and Eric Clapton). Martin Lewis, producer of "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball" described the event in the booklet of the 10th anniversary CD release The Secret Policeman's Concert. The songs were recorded in London in September 1981.
