Second it had several volume fluctuations which I tried to mitigate with some editing, and I was a quite successful even if more could be done. Third there are some speed fluctuations, which I could not mitigate, specially at the end of 'Roxanne', probably because the taper was jumping with the crowd. Fourth, the left channel dropped for about 1min 30sec into 'Shadows in the rain'. It seems some problem with the master tape or some copy in the lineage; there's not the classic "oops I recorded by mistake" sound. I have rendered this in mono, taking the right channel. Fifth, you will be pleased by some screaming guys, who were really enjoying the show. Sometimes seems like they enjoyed also some beers :) They don't scream all the time however, only the most exciting parts, and if you take them the right way they're funny. On 'Secret Journey' they scream "Andy soloooooo!" over the song bridge. They also respond to Sting in 'Roxanne', also in the bridge. Their "help" on the 'Dedododo' chorus is not to be underestimated. I repeat, they do not scream all the time anyway. But when they do, they do! Well, at this point I must say this is not a problem, it is a plus! There's a long applause after 'Roxanne', I've kept it. 'So lonely' is missing, but 'Can't stand' is complete, contrary to some versions I've seen floating around. This is interesting because it's the first (known) time they played 'Secret Journey' live. It did not last much, being dropped after 10 dates. No eq, no noise reduction, no speed adjustment.
