Can't Stand Losin' You / Reggatta De Blanc / Be My Girl [10:33] Notes: This has the last performance of Secret Journey, and I'd say that overall the execution here is superb. The big turn-off here is that this is a touch distant and has plenty of reverb to go around. Based on other recordings, I suspect the Carrier Dome is a big place that is quite echoey. It's particularly bad right when the show starts, for these fans are LOUD. Some of Sting's banter is incredibly difficult to hear as well. Why there is no Walking On the Moon here is a mystery to me, but I would bet it is because of Secret Journey. Perhaps the taper forgot to resume the tape when he flipped it over. I also wonder if it was perhaps on a 100-minute tape at one point and it was cut off. If so, then a smooth job was done of covering it up. With this having Secret Journey and having such a good performance (for my money, we have the best version ever of Bring On the Night here), it's one I wouldn't pass up. However, I won't be surprised if it isn't the first Secret Journey show you pick out to listen to. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 314157 (by 78jazz)
