During “Can’t Stand Losing You” Sting says, “It’s very important to me that this next part of the show goes well because it involves you. Tomorrow night in this very same place where we’re doing the same thing and the only difference is it’ll be different people in where you are. I like to compare people. I enjoy it alright? I want you to sing really loud. So loud that they hear you in Glasgow alright? Raise the roof. Just follow me.”

I converted this show from an unknown generation cassette about 6 years ago before I knew anything about azimuth adjustments. I used a crappy sony cassette deck and a headphone jack out into a standard audio card and captured with Cool Edit 2000.

comment: This was the first of 16 concerts in a nine-city UK tour. Brewing giant Guinness sponsored this part of tour. During the Synchronicity tour in the UK opened different bands for The Police (e.g.: China Crisis, Jonathan Perkins, The Alarm and The Animals).
