Comment: Ok, Here is the missing night for most collectors and completists. My apologies for keeping you all waiting this long. I got sidetracked and I wanted to try and master the show with enhancements that will make it worthy of listening rather than just archiving. So this is for all of you, my humble offering and my way of sincerely thanking such a great community that shares so much with each other! I almost did not go to the show, thanks to Ticket Bastard!!!...I tried getting tickets in the legit way as a true fan and hit that "Find Tickets" button the moment they went on sale and despite that I was getting the 300 section seats (and not the good ones)...In disgust I did not purchase tickets on the day they went on sale (btw, Ticket Bastard did not tell the buyers that 27th was available until they were sold out of the 26th and then offered it up - in real time!). Anyhow, over time I contacted a few folks including fellow DIME'rs if they knew anyone with good seats and at cost and fellow DIME'er Carlo Bolchini found someone for me who was selling tickets for the 27th. I swallowed my bitter feelings and got me a pair and here is the net result. Bear in mind, these were still 300 section seats (but better than what I could get online) and are not the "rattle your jewellery" seats...Net side effect was the sound has that large arena feel to it and I had to do some parametric eq. and utilized the Waves L3 Multimaximizer to boost the sound. What you are getting sounds quite good and listenable rather than a show for pure archiving only. Finally, this one is for two DIME'ers who helped me out and have been patiently waiting for this show - Carlo Bolchini and SteerPike (Rogier, www.thepolicelive.com). SteerPike has been patiently waiting for me to upload this show. 'nuff complaining about TicketBastard - Enjoy! NOTE: For those wondering why I did not use better external mics, I decided to forego the hassle of carrying external mics and a battery box into this venue as they give you a cavity search with metal detectors and I smuggled in the recorder inside my wife's purse which was not scanned. That said, I am very pleased with the R-09's built in mics - they can handle such loud concert sounds without overdriving the mic-preamp and that translates to better recordings than those I have done in the past with other recorders with external mics but no battery box. Also, I edited the crowd between the encores and realized I forgot to fade out at the end...You may want to take care of that if you are that anal. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 168473 (by pandeyrajiv)
