Exit Music / Post Show Ambience / Taper Comments [7:11] MATRIX of 2 audience sources: both sources flac > wav > Cool Edit Pro > wav > CDwav > wav > flac Matrix done by: RLBayers@gmail.com, August 2007 Souce 1: Taper: Rob Greenfield (Robducati). Taper Assistant & Security/Idiot Blocker: Patrick McCarty (Plasticmanpat). Recording Equipment: Sound Professionals CMC-8 Cardioid mics (Audio Technica w/no SPL mods, croakie mount) > Sound Professionals 12v line in battery box (made for Edirol) > Edirol R-09 via line in jack (44.1 khz 16 bit Stereo PCM WAV on Sandisk Ultra2 4gb SD card). Transfer/Editing of WAV file: Edirol R-09 (using AC power adapter) > USB via Firewire > PC > Cool Edit Pro 2 (repair clip on first song, normalize - .01 db, split d1 & d2, all fades in/out) > CD WAVE (track splits on sector boundaries) > Traders Little Helper (encoded @ level 8) > bit torrent on TTD. Recorded from section 116, Row C, Seat 2 (three rows from the floor, stage right). Source 2: FOB Section C Row 8 Church Audio Cardoids/Edirol R-09@ 24bit/44.1khz Tracked in Goldwave>Dither to 16bit/44.1khz/FLAC/You Taped/Transferred By: RandalP Notes: I know the taper said that a matrix was in the works, but I couldn't wait any longer, so I did it myself. I think it sounds great, the first source was up close and sounded very crisp and clean, and the 2nd source added just the right about of low-end and ambiance. I did not do any remastering or eqing or anything, all I did was matrix it and adjust the volume between the 2 sources. I think this is us there with the best few recordings of the tour.
