Next To You [5:57] Taped By: Al Horta (moderndaywarrior2112@yahoo.com) *****Modern Day Warrior Recordingzzz***** Location: seats, a little past the 50 yard line Source/Lineage: Sony ECM-MS907 > Sony D8 (via mic-in) > DAT > Cool Edit Pro (via line-in) > Wave > Flac Level 6 Notes: One of the most anticipated shows this year, I actually saved myself some bucks by actually winning these tix from a local radio station (Q104.3 Classic Rock NYC). That's me you hear on the 3rd track first disc, and as you can tell, I was pretty excited I won the tix. Now, onto the show, the seats were better than I anticipated. Lower tier. a little past the 50 yard line. Not bad for free tix. The show itself was pretty great although I have to admit, I didn't particularly care for some of the arrangments of the songs. But that being said, I was still pumped about being there, to see one of the bands I loved since childhood for the first time ever. About the recording, it's a tad bit distant considering where my seats were, but I was blessed with a pretty quiet crowd around me, so the music comes through pretty clear. I eq'd it slightly to make the highs a little crisper and to boost up the low end a bit. You be the judge, I think it came out pretty well. Enjoy and Trade Freely.
