Some people do really think this is a very bad venue to set a recording in it, well it is not. Arena is imho an easy place to create a good recording... at least if you know the right place to stand for a taper-spot. A or B are the best locations, all other spots can mess up the accoustic & surrounding on the record. I was standing, like noted, right central in the venue and did use the glass/steel roof construction as orrientation-point. Thanks to OKM and that central point i did catch a real acceptable sound and volume level, with a light volume 1 echo/delay in the back. This was my 4th recording in Arena from that same spot, so i did know that i was doing the right thing. I had no major problems before, during and after the gig. I adjusted the location by moving 2 rows further, reason was avoiding too much talk-overs & sing-allongers. You can hear false singing during the first song, behind me. Yes, you and you there who was behind me jumping/singing and did not know what those wires in my head were. Nice voice :-p Celular-signals, i did not count these yet but it's hard to hear. The Police did blow some big boogie's on bass on some songs at the end. Damping that bassy signal was not possible, i get in anyway a distortion on those. I decided to not to remaster these signals and leave it as they are, that also how it felt went it blows you away. (BE-carefull, don't mess up your amps/box's with it). Now, by moments i had to turn my head a bit left or right (max. angle - & + 90° = a left/right view), which you normally don't do with OKM binaurals in ear, if you can hear the surround shifting that's the reason, i'm sorry but i'm not a stiff pole to lean on. I really hope you can enjoy the show again. Thetradersden.org: Torrent 45382 (by massygo)
