Knockin' On Heaven's Door [4:24] 10. 40 [5:17] Comments taken from Justin's CDR trading page: Very strong overall sound with virtually no crowd noise during the music. Larry's drums and Adam's bass come through surprisingly well. An excellent recording, especially considering its rarity. There is a very slight hiss in the background throughout the recording. Personnel comments: Gloria is a little bit muffled. It sounds like the taper didn't had his gear ready. Lucky for us, from the second songs, every thing sounds very good. "Will you welcome the birthday boy?!" Bono shouts during Gloria. The first of many references on the fact it's Adams birthday. There's a lot of improvisation during The electric co. Before Sunday bloody Sunday the audience start to sing spontaneous Happy birthday to Adam, Bono sings along. And again Sunday bloody Sunday is introduced with: This is not a rebel song! This is Sunday bloody Sunday! A superb version of October is played. Bono is teasing Adam, during a Party girl. He changes the lyrics in something like: "I know what he wants. He wants a present. He wants a drink. Give the boy a drink. Some Champaign." This Party girl version is a very long one, 6:24 min! Two members of The Alarm enjoy U2 during Knockin' on heavens door. The sound of this recording is, besides Gloria and Tomorrow it's very good and strong. It's just a pity there's a tapehiss in the background, witch becomes irritating at moments. Minors on this copy CD 1 track 01 pos 0:38->0:39 major gap CD 2 track 02: sound drop 0:15->1:30 (sounds quite and muffled) CD 2 track 06-> track 07 click (bad edit, audience noise is cut of) CD 2 track 10 there is some bass buzz in this song.
