A Celebration [3:02] 09. 40 [5:00] Per Pimm: "A super-enthusiastic audience see U2 perform a great show in which the band reward the fans for their warm reception by playing Gloria a second time that night during the encores. Bono compliments the venue, calling it the best building in England and stating that "it has great passion." They pull out A Celebration for the first time since Liverpool on March 3, playing it wildly and joyously. It is to be the last time U2 will ever play the song." This seed is uploaded at special request per a previous post from someone who actually had the pleasure of attending this show. If you are hoping for soundboard quality, you will be sadly disappointed, as this is probably in the C+/B- area...but a good one for we "completists"...i.e. insane collectors. Please note also that Tomorrow is cut off part way through...maybe the taper was changing tapes. The discs were obtained in trade, are confirmed to be lossless! Lineage: cdr> EAC to wav> MKWact to shn Comments: Another good show wasted by bad copying. This really sucks because it appears to have been a excellent show. U2 must have enjoyed themselves that much that they did an encore of Gloria and a rare performance of a Celebration at the end. The version of Tomorrow is incomplete and misses the 2nd part. I guess the tape must have ran out. Bummer!
