"40" [6:21] History: Analog 2nd > CDR Source: CDR > EAC > WAV > FLAC (Level 6) Comments: [by Reno] I don't know much about the origin of this recording. I got it as a gift through Javi from Spain. The recording is too good to not list it here. It's probably the best, or at least one of the best recordings from 1984. It makes you wonder wether this show was broadcast, but I seriously believe it's an audience recording. At places, the high pitched sounds come out a bittoo sharp, but it all, all frequencies are loud and clear. Each instument very distinqtive. This show was only the second show after the recordings for the album 'The Unforgettable Fire', playing just one song of that album ["Pride (In The Name Of Love)"]. U2 play for an audience that's seeing U2 for the first time. Bono pulls of a great and energetic performance.
