I used my marantz EQ, nero wave editor, cd wave and then monkey audio 3.97 to get it available on PC. Personnel comments: This concert is played loud, passionated and with high energy. Cleary the band is into it. During An cat dubh, Bono is explaining that the band likes it more, when his voice is a little bit hoarse. "Than I shut up more" But not this evening! The leadsinger is talky and is improvisating a lot. Unforgettable fire, a superb version! Bono makes fun with his voice problems, the line "stay 't ill you're voice breaks through" is inserted. "Sometimes I wish" he says after Unforgettable fire " it was possible, in a place like this, to talk, to converse with you people, with you all. The audience reacts very loud. "Sometimes" he continues " than I realize speaking it's not just the words, not about you got you're voice, or lost it. It's about things more important. I think tonight we going to prove something! I hope that we prove that the music, witch is the action, speaks louder than the words. And of course the audience reaction is very very loud!!! And it sounds like he's proving to the band, he wouldn't quite down this evening, Surrender also get a large introduction. How everyone is talking about this song. That people don't understand, how he can even suggest to surrender in a time like this. The song is played very passionate, and sounds little bit aggressive at moments. During Sunday bloody Sunday, you can hear clearly Bono has voiceproblems. His voice let him down occasionally. Wire and A sort of homecoming are both played for the first time. The sound of this recordings is full, close and crisp. There is audience noise present in the recording, but it's not distracting. There is however a minor in this recording. This one is taken from a high gen tape, so a loud tapehiss is present. At moments it becomes really irritating. But this may not hold you back to obtain this recording. It's still a good addition for you're collection.
