Pimm says: "Bono mentions that 11 O'Clock Tick Town was 'born' in Manchester, and recalls that the city was one of the first in Britain to support U2. 'We drove up in a van from London and played in a little room,' he says amid yelling from the audience. 'You couldn't have been there, there was only about three people there,' he laughs.
