From there, the sound remains very consistent throughout. A pretty nice recording overall, with good clarity. The recording is a bit distant, so the sound could be a bit more powerful. If it were, this recording would likley merit an "excellent audience" rating. Audience noise is minimal, but a few individual voices can be hear during the quieter songs (e.g. "MLK" and "October"). There are small pops between most of the tracks. Bono has a lot of trouble with his voice during this concert. Throughout the first six songs you can tell that something isn't right. There seem to be extended intros to many of the songs as Bono doesn't start singing at the usual places. Things get really bad during "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and after the song Bono says "I'm sorry. I think we're going to have to break for some time because we have come a long way to play you the best concert of our lives, not the second best. So we must go now. We will see you in ten minutes." The band leaves the stage so Bono can rest his voice. They play "Sunday Bloody Sunday" again upon returning to the stage, but Bono's voice continues to show signs of strain. There are edits between the two takes of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and just before "Bad". The first several seconds of "October" are missing, presumably due to a tape flip.
