'Well, people at the back, you're gonna feel like you're at the front tonight,' are Bono's words of welcome at the start of a powerful, spirited concert. Someone throws a large bouquet of flowers at Bono, who then hands them out to the audience one by one. He starts Bad with a few lines of Norwegian Wood: 'I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me...she showed me her room, isn't that good, Norwegian wood...' Edge's mother attends the concert, and for the solo in Party Girl Bono introduces Edge as 'Mrs. Edge's little boy.' "A local group has organized a 'food drive' at the third concert and food will be collected in the lobby for handing out to the many homeless and poor of Los Angeles. Bono promotes the initiative. 'Tomorrow night we have a thing called the Food Drive -- you bring food, you put it in bags, and some very, very starving people will get that food, tomorrow night.' Before 40 Bono says: 'I hope we make it clear that this music, and these people, are bigger than this place." Notes: I have no doubt that my concert is the same as Justin quotes at his site, as he states: "Very nice sound quality and clarity for a seventeen year old audience recording. The sound is a bit distant, otherwise this would be a solid EX AUD recording. A Sort of Homecoming fades in during the first verse.
