Wire[4:50] Source: Disc 1, Disc 2 (Tracks 1-9): April 10, 1985. Hampton, Virginia. Hampton Coliseum Disc 2 (Tracks 10-11): Unknown Soundcheck Lineage: audience recording > ??? > CDR(u) > EAC > .wav > FLAC Frontend > FLAC NOTE (Justin Cook): This is a pretty decent recording given its rarity. The overall sound is pretty clear, although a bit distant. Crowd noise is really only an issue between songs. A very slight hiss can be heard in the background throughout. The source tape obviously suffered some degradation during the first few seconds of the first song on each disc. After the first verse of "11 O'Clock Tick Tock" and by the beginning of "Bad" the recording is at normal levels. Between songs on the first disc, a slight wavering can be heard if you listen closely to the cheering crowd. There is noticeable edits between several songs, but no music is lost. "October" features an extended keyboard intro by Edge. The bonus tracks on disc two are pretty cool. They are a very clean recording of an unknown soundcheck. The sound is so clean that this may be a soundboard recording. U2Torrents: Torrent 3142 (by CTU2fan)
