Gloria [7:09] 10. 40 [7:11] Comments: The sound is nice and crisp, and both vocals and music are at the forefront. There is very little, if any, background noise. As is common, the intro to "Streets" is a bit lower quality than the rest of the recording as the person taping the shows gets adjusted. During the intro, the recording level shifts a bit and an upset young man can be heard screaming at someone to get out of his way. However, other than this incident, audience noise is not a problem. If you like a talky Bono, than this is the recording you have to obtain this recording. Even at U2 standards, Bono is very very talky at this recording. Nearly every song he has something to say, a comment has to be made! At one point, I had the feeling, I was listening to a talkshow instead a rockconcert! He was also in the improvisation business that evening, several songs, have different lyrics. This recording is a very nice upgrade from "Joshua Tree Hartford", The inclusion of "Springhill Mining Disaster" and "Mothers of the Disappeared" on the setlist should be enough to convince you to acquire this bootleg.....the excellent sound quality is just a bonus! The only 2 minus on this cd are: at the end of cd 1 the comments made by Bono are cut in two. At cd 1 on the end of Gloria at 5:59->6:00 it sounds like audience noise is cut out.
