Trip Through Your Wires [3:50] LINEAGE: Disc 1 & 2, Track 01 - 08: Unknown audience source (likely a Walkman or similar) > ? > CD-R received in trade > Nero ROM > Cool Edit (fades, speed reduction) > FLAC Disc 2, Track 09 - 11: PRO-shot TV footage (pre-broadcast) > ? > low-gen VHS tape purchased 5/88 > Emerson VCR > Nero ROM > Cool Edit (fades, etc.) > FLAC Notes: This was the band's next concert following the well-documented Syracuse performance. Another "broken arm" show, and the same setlist as the previous show. I think the overall performance is a little better than in Syracuse - typically great versions of "Bad" and "Bullet the Blue Sky", in addition to an extended version of "With or Without You" (the band plays a sort of "reprise" at the end) and a long version of "40" which includes a few lines from "Walk to the Water" ("like a field of corn, you were blown by the wind"). Clearly an average audience recording, but this one seems to be of a lower generation than most. No details on the lineage, but the f.a. looks OK to me. Unfortunately it ran a bit fast, so I slowed it down about 2% using CoolEdit. Still not perfect, but much improved in my opinion. As a bonus is included another version of the first three songs taken from a pro-shot source (TV station footage). It's not soundboard quality, but it's a bit better than the main recording. VHS is bought from a dealer in May 1988, so it is a fairly low-gen recording and I've ripped the audio directly from it. No possible mp3 issues there.
