With Or Without You [6:25] Source: TAPE (GEN???) > STAND ALONE CDR > PC > EAC > NERO WAV SPLIT > FLAC Notes: This is one from my box of tapes. I have not been involved in any trading circles, but get the impression that this show is either rare or not often circulated. I have had it on tape since 90/91 so gauranteed lossless. I purchased it from a UK based tape dealer along with the other Lovetown shows. I have uploaded here Christchurch 4 nov and Melbourne 12 oct (complete). I have split the discs as per covers on the bootleg cover archive. However those covers mention some sloppy edits and an early fade out on with or without you. I have split the tracks myself and dont think they are sloppy and with or without you is complete. The quality is consistant with the 6.5/7 marks I have seen on some trading sites and like some of the notes there, this tape does have a few glitches where possibly other buttons were pressed on the recorder when recording so the tape appears to speed up for a couple of seconds. This would lead to the impression that it came from the original source. However as I mentioned above I have only just transfered it, I have not attempted any speed corrections or EQing, basically because I don’t know how to. If anyone wants to have my tape and give it ago PM me and I will send it to you. Its a shame this show is not in better quality as having listened to it for the first time in years when transferring it it sounds like it was an excellent show with some great crowd sing-a-longs including a verse of waltzing matilda at the end of running to standstill. The atmosphere is tempered a little as Bono dedicates Love rescue me to 2 fans who had tragically died on the way home from the previous nights show.
