I suspect it's not the whole band playing.  Bono is not there. but as the taper did some cut at some moment, i strongly think some of the band where there soundchecking.

Process : Tape -> Sony Deck (pitching down) - >Marantz EQ (removing part of the 'empty hall' sound, add some bass and dehiss) - > Nero wav editor - >Ejay music cleaning studio (finish the EQing) - >CD WAV editor - > MA 3.97

This pretty good sounding soundcheck was originally +/- 88 min, i removed a lot of silent parts all over the recording (11 minutes).  except for some improvisation and some complete songs, it's partly a boring soundcheck. The 2 other dates soundchecked in Melbourne are clearly better.  Bono wasn't there and it's his roadie that makes the job. yauckt
