Notes from taper: Recorded in the 1st level off the floor about 15-20 rows up on Adam's side of the stage.
My celebrity sighting of the night was Neil Young who was in attendance. He was starting a string of shows at the Orpheum Theatre starting in the next day or so. I know there are a couple of other different versions of this show flowing about but I have been told this is the best one. You can check out the samples and judge for yourself. Notes from Mike D. (speed fix): This one played too slow. The first part was a little off, and the middle and end were off by more. Given that the vocals but not so much the instruments were what came through, it was hard to get it just right.
As I write this, I haven't finished listening to this one, but it sounds great, and it's a rare moment where you hear Adam, Larry and the Edge all talking or singing on stage at some point in the show.
