Love is Blindness [6:18] Source: CDR (unknown lineage/taper) > EAC > WAV > FLAC (Level 6) Per Pimm: "Trying to Throw Your Arms is an erotic highlight. 'Hey you -- wanna drink with me? C'mon!' Bono encourages the girl of his choice. A ravishing blond girl steps onto the catwalk. 'Woo, a good one, ah,' he moans, shakes the bottle and bellows, 'Oh yeah, I'm coming!' when the champagne lavishly flows. 'I'm gonna run to you,' he serenades the girl and when Edge appears he makes a U-turn and sings, 'I'm gonna run from you, run from you.' Edge supplies the subtlest 'Pom pom pom's' of the tour on Satellite of Love, while the audience excel in clapping out of time. "After the show Bono comes out to talk to fans and reveals that the band want to record a new album in the winter, to be released before the European summer tour in 1993 gets underway." Notes: Sourcing on this one lead us to two names with which we are all very familiar, Justin and Dana...to quote from Justin's site, since this torrent corresponds with what he references: "This recording was converted from cassette to CDR by Dana Fletcher (fletcher@nhvt.net). A decent recording that could be made a lot better with some fairly simple remastering (see below). Unlike the commercial bootleg 'Is This a Party or What', this recording includes the entire concert. The first four songs suffer from a low overall volume and a lack of clarity that makes them sound distant and a bit muddy. However, sound quality does improve considerably after Mysterious Ways. Unfortunately, the volume remains pretty low. There is a sloppy edit between Satellite of Love and Bad during which approximately one second of the former is repeated before the latter begins. I would suggest waiting until somebody remasters this bootleg before acquiring it. "With a little remastering, this recording could probably be made into something pretty special. When the recording was transferred to CDR, the volume on the cassette player was evidently set pretty low. So the volume of this bootleg should be substantially increased. Also, to make the recording a bit more clear, you could reduce the bass a bit and jack up the treble. There are sixteen seconds of dead air before the recording begins, so that would provide you with a nice noise sample with which to remove the tape hiss."
