Comments: The sound of this recording has obviously been tampered with to remove the high frequency distortion present on the master recording. However, in reducing this interference, the high frequency components of the music have suffered tremendously. The bass and midrange have been boosted too much, resulting in vocal distortion and an overall lound which is too "loud" in spots, for lack of a better description. Skip this one and go after FALLING IN LOVE or one of the other boots for a more enjoyable recording of this great show. It is also available on UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD. The overall mix is very good; a "raw" sound that is rare on ZooTV recordings. The sound resolution is excellent, such that you can hear Bono's breath. On the other hand, it is somewhat distorted sound wavers slightly in pitch, and the recording level was a little too high. The performance is pretty good, with an excellent cover of "Stand By Me". This is the original pressing on this label.
