Love Is Blindness [6:35] This recording is fairly typical of cassette to CDR transfers -- decent overall sound that is somewhat distant and a bit muddy. There is an edit between "TTTYAATW" and "Angel of Harlem" and another between "Stand By Me" and the intermission. After "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", there is a phone conversation between Adam and some woman. To be honest, I have no idea what it is about. I can't really make out what the two of them are saying. Something about whether Adam remembers her from the concert in Glasgow in 1987, I think. Thankfully, the music is much more audible than the phone call. The synthesizer begins to churn out the opening notes of "With Or Without You" only to have Bono pick up the phone and start to make a phone call. Seemingly irritated with the way things unfolded, Bono hurries through the call saying "Hello? Hello? I want to speak to my baby. Hello? I want to speak to someone with intelligience? Hello? I want to speak to my baby. Actually, I don't." This episode will leave you feeling a bit strange...even upset...as you realize how canned and rehearsed the phone call bit was.
