If you can live with a few imperfections, this a wonderful recording of a very rare Zooropa concert If you're a perfectionist, check back periodically for an upgrade. This is a fantastic audience with tremendous sound. The audience is audible at times but is very quiet on the whole. Unfortunately, however, parts of this bootleg are plagued by technical problems. There is a hiccup at the beginning of "Mysterious Ways" fluttering can be heard during "Bullet the Blue Sky", and a strange buzzing sound is audible at the beginning of "Desire". The worst problems occur during "New Year's Day" which is almost a total loss. Having burned well over one thousand CDRs in the past nine months, I am very familiar with recording flaws and all of the sounds that detract from the quality of this bootleg seem to be a result of the process of burning the show onto CDR In other words, they should easily be fixed by simply re-burning the disc. I am in the process of trying to secure a new copy, so hopefully I will be able to offer a perfect version in a few weeks There are also a few gaps between songs that result in nothing but cheering being omitted. Until I receive the replacement copy, if you're looking to get your hands on a rare Zooropa bootleg and you can live with some flaws, this bootleg may be for you. Remember, other than the songs that I listed above, the rest of the performance is perfect. (justin cook txt file)
