Rain [3:56] Source: Silver Disc -> EAC -> WAV -> FLAC (Level 6) Compiled By Dema75 Comments: First off, I HIGHLY recommend this bootleg is you can get it. It was a very limited run of 100 copies. I myself have #83. You can tell if it's an original be the matrix numbers. On the back it says " In December 1997 a Soundboard recording of Leeds Popmart was broadcast on French Radio in error. They meant to broadcast the Parisian Popmart. This is a recording of that infamous broadcast." The title isn't as rude as it sounds, as a "Cock Up" is an English slang for screw up or mess up. In the beginning you hear a French DJ announce that they will be broadcasting Paris Popmart. Then at the end of Rain you hear him talk for about a minute. At the beginning you hear some French person say something like "This is U2 live at Paris". When the track changes or "breaks", you can hear for a brief 1/4 of a second a gap. No big deal. Lemon has been edited, so you can only hear the lemon moving. For more info on the show, see the reviews of "Live at Leeds". In this bootleg, Mysterious Ways was not included. That is because of the French so that they wouldn't get into copyright trouble (because Bono was singing snippets of "Something"). In my opinion, highlights include: Mofo, Gone, Last Night On Earth, Singing In The Rain, Miami, Where The Streets Have No Name, Discotheque, HMTMKMKM, and Rain. The insert (one page) and back look like they were printed off a color printer. If you can get a copy of this bootleg, it's worth it!
