What differentiates this recording from the best Vertigo Tour bootlegs is its rather sterile sound. The top shelf recordings from this tour have a much warmer feel than this bootleg. It's difficult to explain, but this recording sounds like it was recorded in a large domed stadium rather than a more intimate hockey/basketball arena. The relatively weak low end is likely at least partially responsible for this. Audience noise is miminal. The taper made several adjustments to the recording volume during "City of Blinding Lights". There are fades out / in between the main set and encores. Just before counting off "Vertigo", Bono says "This is not a Spanish town! This is an Irish town!" He then counts to three in Gaelic.
