Drew's Dub (4-Source Matrix) Drew's Notes: First off, Thanks to the Tapers, especially D.S.for allowing me to use the IEM. One may ask why another matrix of this show when a good matrix already exists? Here is why, to me the other matrix sounds very distant, I don't like the distant sound too much, so I made this one. This took countless hours over many months to make. There were some timing issues I had to correct on all the Audience sources. The IEM has some static spots throughout, not that bad though. This sounds much closer and what I think sounds like a well balanced recording. I diminished the metronome on the IEM a bit, but it is still present, when I got rid of the metronome altogether, that is what made the other matrix sound so distant. I personally don't mind the metronome. Bono's vocal's are a lot more present and up front on this. I hate to say it, but the Audience recordings had a lot of crowd chatter throughout, I tried my best to minimize that during the songs and inbetween where it was just way to loud. In my opinion, this is an upgrade compared to the previous matrix. But isn't music all a matter of opinion? Again, thanks to the tapers! Don't sell this recording and please share Lossless only.
