Moment Of Surrender [7:58] Lineage: Receiver > Cords > Recorder @ 24/44.1k Single Edge IEM mix Taped/Remixed/Remastered by Hoserama/Sharebear Processing done in both Adobe Audition and Nuendo 4 Dithered using Izotope MBIT+ Remix version 4 Notes: There was previously an Edge feed shared of this show by another taper, but I was egged into finalizing something from this show for a possible video production. Took it as an opportunity to play with some new settings + ideas I had kicking around. Did a lot of processing to significantly lower the counts + clicks that accompany U2 IEMs, and also boost Bono's vocals. Granted, could just add in Bono's feed, but where's the fun in that? This is more of just a thought experiment, give it a whirl if you like it. Wanted to see how much I could soup up a single Edge feed. If not to your taste, there's an another version of the Edge IEM (although with more static--I think I had better reception) floating around on the interwebs. Although I think that was also mastered differently from another person. You'll hear some artifacts from the processing at times, mostly where the counts were removed. Just part of the processing trade-off. It's not perfect, but still a good listen. In addition to the processing to remove the excess + boost the Bono feed, did an assorted variety of remastering tricks. Sounds better to my ears, but I'm not going to pretend it's perfect for everyone. Again, compare to the alternate circulating feed and make your call. Good show, not quite as good as the outstanding show the next night. The last show of this setlist format, so to say. Also brought their manager Paul McG on-stage for his birthday. Not planning on sharing any other sources from this show, so please don't ask. Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s, or any other form of "getting paid for your time". Just share it freely. Please don't convert from mp3 back to wave and trade around. This stuff is too easy to find on torrents now. Please do not attempt to remaster/remix this recording and spread it around. This has been heavily processed, and if you want to do your own mix, go get the wireless recordings (good luck), microphone recording, etc., and do it yourself from scratch. And then share! Also, please don't torrent on other sites without at least dropping me a line and asking. I may want to just torrent it there myself. Please ask (and wait for permission!) before putting it in any matrix + video. If you ask nicely I will likely say yes. Enjoy! Hoserama/Sharebear Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 479638 (by senecastj)
