Info: DPA 4061 -> Roland D-26 (@ WAV 16/44) -> SD -> HD -> WeTransfer -> my HD -> Audacity (edit/volume boost only) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND... Recorded by dear DIMENEW from the floor a few meters from stage center. Fine recording, a bit of claps here and there, a bit of sing-a-long, but nothing really serious. The only really annoying thing was the low volume in the first part of the show, until the band switched the stages. I did not balance this, so here's the recording with warts and all... U2...let me remember from some far away "memory folder" in my brain...oh, yes, there were some brilliant albums in the early 80's, a well documented Rockpalast on Loreley (which I enjoyed watching on the TV so much that I went and bought their vinyls straight after), and some "omnipresence" on radio and TV a few years later, but as my personal music taste had very much changed then, I did not follow... So it was a nice listening to some known tracks and those from the history of U2 which I did not know. Not really my cigar, but that doesn't matter. I'm only a bit pissed about the low volume during the "first set", especially on my fave, "Sunday bloody sunday"...Anyway, let's jump into the Lanxess Multipurpose Arena, not a venue where me would take a step in...SB. Support this band, go to their shows, buy all their fine official merchandise! Do not convert to lossy files, unless for personal use only. No lossy net use. Flac rules! If you spread, keep lineage/taper info intact. It's the tapers that give you this music! If you sell this recording...go to hell! THE USUAL SUSPECTS ONSTAGE...Bono, The Edge, Clayton, Mullen.
