Manufacturer: Unknown Catalog: P 910026 Matrix: CD-CZECHOSLOVAKIA P 910026 CD Barcode: Unknown Complete Show: No Format: 1CD Released: Unknown (73:10) From: Matthew Gruett Both suffer from bad reverberation during speaking parts which makes it hard to discern what is being said. Both have little to no audience screaming within close range of the microphones (no one yelling "Bono!" etc.) which is pretty good for audience recordings. Comments: The cover is from 'The Joshua Tree' photo session, but material is ZOO TV era. A little bit of wow and flutter in "Mysterious Ways". A complete drop out in "New Year's Day", lasting eight seconds, which is supplemented by another recording of really poor quality (from another show probably). Dana Carvey appears as Garth for the TV part right before "Even Better Than The Real Thing" and also plays the drums along with the song. The sound of Garth's drums is fed over satellite and mixed in with Larry's drums, but you can really only hear it during the guitar solo when Bono says "Drum solo, Garth." I feel the first two tracks, "Zoo Station" and "The Fly", are the best recordings on this booleg. The rest are poorer quality, even if they are from the same tape. This would most likely be a treasure to anyone who attended either of these shows. See also: THE EYE OF THE FLY. This is the original pressing on this label.
