Pontiac Silverdome (1-8) 13.09.1992 USA, Madison WI. Camp Randall Stadium (9-15) Sound Quality: (1-8): Good audience. (9-15) Fair audience. Comments: Both suffer from bad reverberation during speaking parts which makes it hard to discern what is being said. Both have little to no audience screaming within close range of the microphones (no one yelling "Bono!" etc.) which is pretty good for audience recordings. I've seen the Detroit songs elsewhere, but not the Madison show. Madison may be an audience recording and sounds very bassy. Dana Carvey appears as Garth for the TV part right before "Even Better Than The Real Thing" and also plays the drums along with the song. The sound of Garth's drums is fed over satellite and mixed in with Larry's drums, but you can really only hear it during the guitar solo when Bono says "Drum solo, Garth." This would most likely be a treasure to anyone who attended either of these shows. See also: BULLET THE BLUE SKY. This is the original pressing on this label.
