A capacity audience of 20,000 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl saw Edge and Bono join Pearl Jam for Neil Young's Rocking in the Free World - Edge turning in a particularly scintillating performance. 'To the Make Poverty History campaigners, we salute you,' said Bono. 'Keep on rocking in the free world. Politicians have to do what you tell them to do.' After his appearance at the Make Poverty History concert in Melbourne, Bono was interviewed on Australian Channel 2's Late night news and current affairs program, Lateline.
