Comments: [Adrian Elmer]: A fairly good CD as far as the fruit bootlegs go. The tracks run fairly smoothly, considering the different styles of 'remixing' applied to tracks of the 80s compared to those of the 90s. Perhaps a simple swap between tracks 9 and 10 ('Mysterious Ways' and 'When Love Comes To Town') would have improved this even more. All of these tracks are either officially released versions or very slight re-edits of official versions, so the quality of the remixing is high.Track 1 ('Lemon - Oakenfold Jeep Mix') is only otherwise available on the incredibly rare Australian release of the Lemon single. Track 2 has been mistitled 'Mysterious Ways - Ultimate Mix', it should read 'Mysterious Ways - Ultimatum Mix', another Australian only release which was available for a brief time on a bonus disc that came with the regular 'Mysterious Ways' CD single, and is also now very difficult to find a legitimate copy of. The two other remixes of 'Lemon' ('Version Dub' and 'Momo's Reprise') can only be found legitimately on vinyl, the 12" version of the 'Lemon' single (the 'Oakenfold Jeep Mix is also available on this 12"). 'Momo's Reprise' has the faintest of vinyl crackles, whilst 'Version Dub' could pass as having a CD source (is there an official CD source that I am unaware of?). Both 'God Part II' and 'When Love Comes To Town' are different to the versions found on the 'When Love Comes To Town' CD and 12" single. 'God Part II' contains an extra 2 minutes not found on that single, whilst 'When Love Comes To Town' has an extra 20 seconds. These additions appear to be more edits - 'When Love Comes To Town' has some extra sampled speech in the middle section, whilst 'God Part II' merely seems to be longer, without being drastically different to the official releases. Of all the tracks on this compilation, only 'Mysterious Ways (Ultimatum Mix)' is currently available on other fruit bootlegs. The rest are unique to this collection. This is one of two of the original pressings on this unknown label.
