Source: 2 x technics 1210īs, sony cdp-791, eitronic predator mixer > soundblaster 128 platinum recorded using sound le and cut up in to tracks using soundforge. All tracks very taken from vinyl, cept tracks 6 & 9 which were played into the mix via cd player.

Notes:
01. it had to be really. always knew that this would be the first track. its perfect as an opener for as cd of this type. top reworking of the old M track. ahhhhhhh golden arch's, mirror ball lemon's :)
02. nice deep dirty, gravelly sounding beats with a few smatterings of vocal
03. one of the many dance tracks that have used the NYD sample over the years and prolly one of the better ones as well. has a nice sort of chunky grinding house groove going on. this said tho the guitar sample sounds best when dubbed out in the breakdowns. there are times in the track that the use of it really doesnt fit and as a result sounds a bit off. course the is a long standing tradition when it comes to u2 remixes with public enemy number one being oakey.
04. the limited use of the vocal on the dub makes it a far better track than the more vocal funkforce mix. very nice dark growling bassline that boms along very nicely :)
05. this is prolly one of the best remixes and a personal fav of mine. really has a nice smooth velvety feel to it that makes you wanna get up and dance to it with its infectious beats and uplifting groove. course it is brought to you by David Morales who has done many a great remix over the years. most 
notabley the wonderfully uplifting remix of mariah carey's dreamlover and of course the legendary mix of jamiroquai's space cowboy. the introduction of the flute sound was a master stroke and because of this we can forgive him for his previous bland outing on lemon :).

07. not so much a remix more a reworking. glorious track that compliments the original so well. the addition of the female vocalist was pure genius as it feels as tho it always was meant to be that way. sheer class
08. just thought i would slow it down for a bit. just a nice little ambient mix that is soothing on the ears :)
09. again just thought it would be a laugh to use this as a link tho thinkning back i am not to sure if it worked or not. prolly not. 
10. guess this made it in due to its high BPM count as i need to set up the last few tunes. brought to you of corse by mr van dyk who i used to be a big fan of but of late have felt he has gone a bit off due to all his tunes and remixes sounding very similar. still the time i seen him at the tunnel was a great 
night. as for the tune itself well its what you have come to expect from him with its clean beats and break beaty breakdowns. at time tho the vocal really doesnt work well. 
11. a well put together remix that manages to retain a lot fo the feel good factor that made the original such an amazing tune. ok at this point in time i know a few of you will be wondering about the lack tunes by u2's most capped remixer, the one and only mr paul oakenfold. well simpley put most of his 
remixes blows goats ( looks cautiously around for incoming lightening bolts for making such a sacrilegious statement ). case in point has to be EBTTRT withs its painfully ill fitting use of the guitar solo that makes you cringe violently as tho someone had just slowly ran their nails over the worlds most screechy blackboard ( shudders just thinking about it now ). however
