Notes: 
One day after his 50th birthday, David played a special birthday celebration concert at MSG in NYC. Invited guests were Frank Black, The Foo Fighters, Sonic Youth, the Cure's Robert Smith, Lou Reed and Billy Corgan, with the opening act being London band, Placebo. After Placebo left the stage, the Public Address system played four Bowie songs Law (Earthling On Fire), Pallas Athena, I'm Deranged and Dead Man Walking. One of the best shows of all time -regardless of madison 'square' constraints. It was great to see the transparent-projection-catching-screen again (back from sound + vision '91). He seemed to be enjoying himself so much. Especially while doing some big songs w/ Lou Reed. With all the special guests, the only question left at the end of the night was "Where's Iggy?" Well, you can't win them all.
